Along the cycle path on water between forts and batteries
This tour is free of charge and is exclusively reserved for guests of the Marina di Venezia Camping Village.
9.00 Meeting with your bicycle at the entrance to the Marina di Venezia Camping Village with the nature guide.
9.15 Departure to discover the "La Via dei Forti" dispersed museum. In the early twentieth century, several military works were built in the Cavallino-Treporti area to protect Venice, some of which survived the two World Wars and can be visited. During the tour you will first find the Amalfi and Pisani Batteries, and then continue along Via delle Batterie street, where you will discover the San Marco and Radaelli Batteries, refurbished and used in holiday resorts. You will reach Cavallino and see one of the oldest squares on the peninsula. From here you will take the new longest cantilevered cycle path in Europe to ride along the lagoon, finding on the way some telemetry towers and the Fort Forte Vecchio, the oldest building on the Litoral.
13.30 Return to the campsite.
31 km route, at the guide's discretion, in the event of particular weather conditions or group needs, the itinerary is reduced to 26 km.
