On Sunday the 5th of September Venice's Historic Regatta, the most important event in the Venetian rowing season on the Lagoon, will take place.
The Historical Regatta starts out with the colourful water parade formed by the “Bissone”, the “Bucintoro” and dozens of typical multicoloured 16th century vessels with gondoliers in costume.
The most eagerly awaited moment of this day of celebration is the Regatta on small, two-oared gondolas and winning this Regatta still represents the most longed for desire of every rowers.
The Historical Regatta is really a unique event in a unique city!
