Walking through the beach, dunes and pinewood of Punta Sabbioni

5.00 p.m. Meeting of participants at the entrance to the campsite.
5.15 p.m. From the campsite, we make our way to the beach, approach the foreshore, and then venture further to discover the dunes and pinewoods. The route offers a chance to familiarize with numerous species that have been integrated into Venetian culinary traditions: clams, tellinas, murici, oysters and mussels can be found along the foreshore and on the rocks of the groins. Sea rocket, sea fennel, pimpinella, dandelion, wild asparagus, thyme, ambrosia, sea buckthorn, elderberry and locust tree are just some of the wild edible and medicinal plants found along the path. The guide will also highlight the challenges facing the delicate coastal ecosystem and explore options for its conservation.
